I am a puppy learner. I wander around, bumbling into interesting information.....then sometimes really get stuck on a topic and really DIG into it. I am all over the place!
I would have to say I'm a kitty cat....MEOW...i am very curious and like to jump into things....i also get zapped at times due to being overly curious....good thing i have 9 lives...
Frank - I would be a lion learner as to technology. I am slow and cautious, but when I se a need I strike quickly. I don't take more than I can make use of at any given time. And, finally, once I've got it, I'm good at passing on the information.
Turtle. Slow, steady, like to hide in shell until it is safe to come out. Wait for the dust to settle instead of jumping in... Watch others and wait to make a move when I am sure of the outcome. Learn best by doing...not listening.
Having been in the regular classroom for 22 years, I appreciate the complexities of teaching today. For the last three years I have been a Certified eMINTS Trainer/Mentor and my job is to coach teachers in using inquiry-based teaching in a technology-rich environment. Working with 19 different school districts is a challenging job, but one I look forward to every day.

A puppy is very enthusiastic if somewhat clumsy will jump into situations blindly withour thought and then try to figure it out.

I would be a turtle because sometimes I drag through topics of study that I am not particularly strong in.
Somedays I would feel like a dog because I am full of energy with the topics that I enjoy and learn.
I would consider myself a cat because sometimes I sleep through activities that I do not enjoy.
Finally I would be a lion because sometimes I have to lay the law down and determined to learn no matter what the circumstances are.

Turtle. Hesitant, lots of storage, introspective, quiet.
Out of these four, I would have to say the turtle.
Mainly because I am a slow learner in respect that I take my time going over the content. It does not happen over night for me.
I am not a speedy reader at all.
I work hard at what I need to accomplish and take my time to make sure the job is done right.
