Smart Board Resources

Here are some resources for the Smart Board. Look over these three links and choose at least two of these resources that you would like to show everyone. Please add the URL's to the resources that you are going to show in a comment on this post. That way everyone can get to the link. Make sure you tell what the link is about in your comment.

This site is like NLVM, many applets for math.

Checked each site out. I am more impressed with the last one than the others. More choices. I still prefer to design my own for specific needs, especially to go along with my reading program. Each day has a set of lessons that I recreate to become interactive. It's a bit time consuming, but I hope to stay at this grade level for more than one year. Ha, Ha! Hasn't happened yet. I can only hope.

I thought this site was pretty cool. Lots of literacy stuff.

I was able to look at a few of the resources but not all of them. I was able to find a few that I could use in class and decided to give it a shot in Algebra I today. The students really enjoyed the experience even those that rarely come to the board.

I was thrilled....(doesn't take much, you say?) to learn how to import/export bookmarks! I wish we had had more time to learn how to use Notebook more, since I do not know what it is able to do.
I got some good items to use in my class....I especially liked the 1 step algebra game Gordon showed.

I need more time to look for materials to use with the SmartBoard, and time to play around with it. I don't want to live at school, but my home Internet is so slow, since I am on dialup and 6 miles from town, that using it there is very inefficient.
